Q: What is Laser Gold?
A: A trademarked name for Epner’s propriety ultra high reflective pure gold, which also exhibits the hardness of an alloy.
Q: Does Laser Gold use a laser?
A: No. The name was derived from the near universal acceptance of the coating for Nd-YAG laser pump cavities.
Q: What is Laser Black?
A: An ultra light absorbing coating that doesn’t out gas or flake off and has many space applications.
Q: Does Laser Black use a laser?
A: No. It’s just a marketing title cooked up by our advertising agency.
Q: Is Laser Gold RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) compliant?
A: Laser Gold’s unique characteristics deliver a product that is highly reflective in the infrared, cleanable and RoHS compliant (i.e. due to the years of research and development, Laser Gold is applied in a uniquely dense crystal structure that results in a hard reflective gold with a purity on deposit greater than 99.9%).
Q: Does Epner Technology accept non-disclosure agreements?
A: Epner takes their responsibilities very seriously under Non-Disclosure and Joint Development Contracts that we frequently are asked to sign. Because we are often in a position of working for in the same industry or the same product line, we are scrupulously careful to “dummy-up” when certain questions are asked. This resistance to “talk” usually reassures our customers that their IP is in good hands.
Q: Does Epner accept credit cards?
A: Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
