In 1910, Epner Technology was founded as a jewelry plater, and at one point in its history had been the largest plater in costume jewelry in New York. Realizing a need in the art community for a plating company that welcomes their chance to contribute to their creativity rather than find them an annoyance, Epner Technology set up a division that draws on its high technology know-how and applies it to the world of art, sculpture and jewelry. Among Epner’s esteemed customers are: Barry X Ball, Matthew Barney, Jose De Rivera, Michael Joaquin Grey, Roy Gussow, Monika Knutsson, Jeff Koons, Richard Lippold, Paddy Shaw, Ebitenyefa Baralaye and Peter Lobello.
